My daughter loves it

Feels quite sturdy but would worry about it breaking if dropped on a hard surface. No assembly needed so straight away easy to use. My daughter loves the rattle and is the perfect size for her to hold. Good value for money.

Engagement Required

The toy is nicely made and looks as it does in the pictures, but because of the interior design, it requires an adult to constantly shake it around if the beads are to drop and make their noise. I.e., you can’t just turn it on its head and leave it for a few seconds while they all descend of their own accord.

A nice looking toy, but the beads may be a little too light

The little one enjoys playing with her rainmaker, especially rolling it on the floor. The spinner inside rotates when the beads pass over it, but not for long as the beads seem like they might be too light to spin it when there are just a few left to fall.

It’s durable

It’s a good little toy but it doesn’t seem to make much of the rain sound. It’s. Ok though

Nice little sound toy

Bought this for my little one and it does make a lovely nice and keep attention but the only annoying thing is some of the balls get stuck so you do have to give it a shake sometimes to get them all to the bottom.

A good quality sensory toy

Nice sensory toys that engages attention from babies and toddlers. My toddler likes to watch the balls go though the cylinders and also the noise that it makes (he shakes it) and my baby shows interest in it too. A good quality toy.

Not bad

Very colourful and well made but didn't hold my 9 month old grandaughter's attention. She was happy to use it as a drumstick though!

Great sensory toy

Great sensory toy but some of the holes for the balls to pass through are quite small. Means you really have to shake it to get them all through. Son doesn't mind but it annoys my perfectionist personality :)

Nice toy, good price

This is nice, although maybe a bit noisy (I thought it might be softer) for young babies. Beads move nicely inside, sometimes static makes them get stuck though.

My baby loves this spinner and the lovely rain sound ...

My baby loves this spinner and the lovely rain sound the beads make as they drop through. I bought it when she was six months old and she hasn't been able to fit her hands around it in order to pick it up until recently, so if say it's maybe suited for 8 months and above. It does provide lots of noise and entertainment, a lovely sensory toy!

My 8 weeks old baby loves it!

I bought this as a recommendation from my osteopath for my 8 week old baby to work his neck. He had alrighty stiff neck and I use this moving it from one side to the other to make my baby follow it and turn his head to both sides. He is fascinated by the sound this makes and he always starts looking at it and following it with his sight from one side to the other. I love it!

Fabulous!

Absolute winner for baby. Gets her turning her head to the noise and when she's about to throw her toys out the pram this is a fab distraction. I can be found in supermarkets wandering around shaking it to keep her happy.

Great for small children, surprisingly sturdy.

Very noisy, brightly coloured rainmaker with a surprising amount of weight to it. It feels quite durable for a children's toy and watching the different rainbow beads moving around is strangely entrancing even for an adult! Small relative seemed pleased with her new noisy stick so no complaints here for the price.

I'd buy it again

A good quality rainstick with an interesting spinner in the middle. A downside is that it is quite heavy and made from strong plastic, therefore my little boy often drops it on his head. It also makes quite the clang when dropped on the ground. They should have put two rubber stoppers around the ends to eliminate this. Still, I'd buy it again. My baby liked to watch it when he was very young, but I have only recently given it to him to play with, now that he can hold it himself.

Fun for 6 month old

I bought this for my daughter as all of her soft toys have become boring and she needs something more interesting to look at and play with. It is a simple yet interesting toy for her and she plays with it on a daily basis and enjoys watching the beads inside. It is quite a robust toy as she likes to bang it against everything. I have already recommended this to my sister who has a 8 month old.

Good toy but beads could flow through better

Our daughter loves this toy and it has been great as distraction aid when out and about as it is light enough to be carried. My only criticism is that when you tip it, not all the beads flow through the holes. Many get stuck and you have to shake to make the beads move. I have seen other makes of this product where the beads flow through smoothly.

Very Impressed

My son has just turned one and he loves this toy. He uses it as a rattle as well as turning it over and peering in to watch the rainbow coloured beads rattle down and go round and round. It reminds me of those large 'rain sticks' they used to have in Primary School which were very popular, and the sound of the beads falling is soothing and not grating when repeated as some rattles tend to be! I only wish I had bought a bigger one so that it went on for longer. Very appealing.
