My grandson loves this. As he puts everything in his mouth we are keeping the shaking egg till he's a bit older. He is 7 months. Had a joyful afternoon playing with him.
My little one loves these toys, they have great sized handles to help him practice his open and close motor skills!
I bought this for my 6 month old and he loves it. Great variety of sizes and sounds. It has also helped his hand coordination. Highly recommend this product.
My son loves all of these and the older he’s got the more he plays with them!
Our twins are 8 months old and adore this percussion set. They play with it most days
I bought this set for my baby boy and he absolutely adores playing with it, particularly the rattle with the bell inside. I suspect I’ll buy more as gifts for parent friends.
Good fans of rattles my 3 month old loves. They offer durability, sturdiness and value for money
I bought this as these toys were used in a baby music class and went down a treat with baby. They are plastic but good quality and durable.
My 9 month old loves this - all the instruments are the perfect size for her little hands to hold and shake. The rain maker is her favourite and is just the right size for her as normally they are much bigger. Really good quality item and so glad I got it for her. Couldn’t be happier!
Lovey present for my friends baby.
Lovely for babies to hold and look at. My toddler also loves the different sounds they make.
Baby enjoys playing with them, but the paint is coming off of the egg shaker
My 8 month old knocked her eye with one of the rattles and it split the skin. It was lucky she didn’t damage her eye more seriously. On inspection the rubber on one of the rattles was sharp. Really annoyed that this was allowed to pass safety checks and felt guilty for letting her play with it. Avoid purchase!
Lovely little first set of musical instruments for my baby, good value for money
My daughter is 7 months and loves playing with all the toys. Each rattle is good quality and durable.
These are really well made and provide hours of interest for younger children. They are easily manipulated by little hands.
Good size for baby to hold, my little girl loves all of it!
These seem to be well made and good value. Ideal for a first instrument set. They are smaller than expected but work just fine!
My nearly 16 month loves these music toys. He throws them around so I can definitely say they are durable, he is teething at the moment and chewing on 2 of them also. They are well made and in lovely colours. All toys make some kind of music/noise which my toddler loves. He keep shaking the egg shaped one which is probably his favourite out of the bunch of toys.Good value for money toy set which is lovely for little hands to hold and enjoy the sound of music aka noise. We love the toys and can only recommend them.
With a young relative just the right age to start taking attention of the world around him these Halilit™ “My First Baby Band” Rattles fit the bill to satiate that curiosity and to keep him amused thanks to a wide variety of textures and noises. Obtained under the Amazon Vine programme for review, the colourful box contains five different rattles with a wide range of designs: A Textured Rattle, a Maraca, an Egg Shaker, a Cage Bell and a Tube Shaker. Each have a very different, colourful appearance in vibrant colours to garner attention, and each is easily gripped by small hands, with different sounds an added bonus. The box states that the rattles are suitable for children over six months old, and they have been carefully designed to be attractive in appearance, tactile, and to be easily grasped by small hands.Toddlers often learn about the world around them by putting objects into their mouths and I was comforted to see the EU’s “CE” safety mark on both the box and in relief on each individual rattle. This means that the plastic used does not contain anything injurious to health, confirming that it is completely safe for children of this age range and is manufactured from non-toxic materials with smooth, rounded edges throughout all five rattles. The size of each rattle is ideal for small hands to clutch easily but not small enough to cause any issues, with smaller parts that cause the rattle that could potentially cause a chocking hazard well secured in each case behind a strong, thick layer of plastic that would require a serious level of mistreatment with a hammer or similar to access, meaning that if a child is prone to throwing a rattle from his pram it’s robust enough to stand up to that sort of punishment. The rattles can be played with individually or all together and certainly stimulated the imagination of my young relative, who gurgled with delight at the variety of noises he could make, with time learning to shake the Maraca and Cage Bell to produce a steady rhythm. These are definitely interactive, with the noises enhancing his ability to listen and learn.I like that, save for the metal bell, everything here is plastic and will simply recycle in the normal plastic recycling when the time comes to dispose – although I’d think the rattles are well enough made that they could easily be passed down through siblings as they come along or be passed on to a charity shop to begin a whole new life. I like that the majority of packaging is simple cardboard which will recycle readily. However the rattles did come enclosed in a clear plastic bag, with the Egg Shaker in an additional internal bag, and care should be taken to remove this out of harm’s way before the toddler takes possession of the rattles. I think the price is very competitive too – at £14.99 for five rattles that’s just £3 each. With the rattles understandably spending some time on the floor I also like that the plastic wipes down simply and quickly with an antiseptic wipe when the toddler has exhausted himself from play and is ready for a nap. These rattles are bright, colourful and interactive – just the thing to keep a 6 month old occupied. I like the range of designs which have clearly been thought through to bring variety to playtime, and whilst the rattles do each make a noise the always tired parents are grateful that none of them are overpowering, an added bonus.
This is a very nice set of baby rattles. It comprises of five different pieces, which make a variety of sounds. One is a bell, another a shaker with small coloured balls, another is a textured rattle with shaped pieces inside, together with a maraca and an egg shaped shaker. They are all well made and very colourful - my young grandsons will adore playing with these. They are a lovely set for a baby gift.
